This light, cooling serum smoothe's onto the skin easily with a silky consistency and doesn't leave skin feeling greasy. It would be suitable for most skin types as once massaged in, it sinks in nicely leaving the skin feeling soft and supple.

 

 

The BioCalm complex gets to work straight away, calming any inflammation and reduces flushing. Within a few minutes you can feel the comfort of it soothing and hydrating the skin and over the few months I have been using it I have certainly felt it working well for my skin.

 

I receive so many emails about Rosacea, not because it’s hugely common, but because treatments seem so largely ineffective. The one thing I cannot stress enough is that with Rosacea its all about being consistent. Sufferers need to be religious in using sun protection as UVA & UVB exposure is a common trigger for flare-ups, along with considering other factors that trigger it such as spicy foods, stress, hot/cold temperature changes. I also advise that exfoliation is a great thing to have in your regime, but you should avoid any harsh ingredients like retinol and physical exfoliants and keep to mild hydrating acids like PHA's - Poly Hydroxy Acids.

 

PHA's are well known to strengthen the skin's moisture barrier, giving hydrating and gentle exfoliation and along with antioxidant extracts it helps protect against these environmental stressor's. This is how I manage to keep my Rosacea so well managed.

 

Whilst using the Neostrata Redness Neutraliser I have certainly noticed my flushing and blotchiness has greatly reduced but mostly it was the condition of skin that impressed me and hopefully this has helped reduce any extra UV-induced damage I might have got during this wonderful weather!
