Rachel has been using the Eneomey Soft Cleanser for the past month, here is what she thinks..
'If you used to love Mene & Moy products, or even if you are new here, then you need to take a look at new brand Eneomey (pronounced Ene-o-mey). Unfortunately, Mene & Moy has been discontinued worldwide but no need to worry as Eneomey is the replacement brand with virtually identical products and ingredient lists too!
I used to love Mene & Moy Facial Cleanser. It was my favourite Glycolic Acid cleanser so when I discovered Eneomey Soft Cleanser had the same percentage (4%) of Glycolic Acid, I had to try it.
Recently, I've been suffering with some congestion and breakouts on my skin so have switched from my usual Glycolic Acid cleanser to a Salicylic Acid cleanser (FYI- I've been using DermaTx Clarify Cleanser, it's absolutely amazing and blemish-prone skin have to try it!!) However, these have finally since cleared up but I have been left with a small amount of post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation which I want to get rid of. So, this came at the perfect time......
It has a really familiar scent which I can't work out what it is, however, it isn't a synthetic type of smell and actually it disappears really quickly afterwards. It has a gel-lotion like texture and a light, iridescent pink colour. I applied it all over my face, avoiding around my eyes, and always leave an exfoliating cleanser on for a few minutes in order for it to work. There isn't really any benefit to applying an acid cleanser and then immediately washing it off straight away! It started to tingle a little, but nothing major, which is a completely normal reaction but it should minimise as you begin to use the product more over time and your skin "gets used" to it. I removed it after a few minutes and my cheeks were slightly flushed but this went down as soon as I put a layer of soothing moisturiser on.
Afterwards, I was so impressed and couldn't believe the immediate difference! I have a couple of light PIH marks on my jaw line and although they hadn't disappeared entirely (I wouldn't expect them to with just one application) they were definitely significantly reduced. I suspect that these will pretty much be gone after a few more uses.
Overall, I'm really happy. This is a great replacement for my Mene & Moy Facial Cleanser. I can't wait to discover more of the brand!'
